September 2026

Jaah changes in September 2026, newest day first. What an entry covers is on the Changelog overview.

2026-09-30 — v1.1.6026

  • A new Translate persona produces localization pull requests that translate only new or changed text.
  • Playbooks lists built-in playbooks; org admins can duplicate them and edit stages, reorder them and preview each stage's prompt.
  • Connect Slack from Profile > Notifications by sending the Jaah bot a one-time code.
  • Help opens as a floating window you can drag, resize and minimize, with a redesigned chat, and answers product questions grounded in the product documentation.
  • Drag a task onto another project's sidebar row to move it there.
  • The Tasks header fits on one line, the sidebar is narrower, and activity rows drop low-priority details as the board narrows.
  • A task's Details tab offers full State control.
  • The Tasks New menu now includes Chat, with tighter spacing on the task list.
  • Features get icons, a progress ring in the sidebar, an Edit page, and drag-to-reorder; tasks without a feature sit under Other.
  • The Tasks header gains a search box and Focus button, shows three creator badges plus a count, and uses one Flat/Tree toggle.
  • The Activity view gets a Tree style that groups an epic's tasks by phase in the table's order.
  • In comments, Enter sends and Shift+Enter adds a new line; images can be pasted or dropped in, and comments take emoji reactions.
  • Notifications can now be delivered by email to your sign-in address, in addition to Slack.
  • Support adds a new-ticket page and ticket notifications; Help moves to the sidebar footer and the assistant accepts attached files.
  • HTML artifacts now run their interactive scripts in the Artifacts tab viewer.
  • Tasks are organized as Project › Feature › Task: the sidebar shows a tree with Pinned and All projects, and workstreams become projects.
  • Tasks can be filed into features; the row menu and task page add Move to feature and Waiting on customer.
  • A Help button opens a chat assistant that answers questions, suggests similar tickets and can create a support ticket for you.
  • New Support pages list your tickets (My, Org, All) with filters, and each ticket has a thread with comments, mentions and attachments.
  • Anyone can sign up with Google, GitHub or Microsoft and name a new organization.
  • Editors can convert any top-level task to another persona, and the task's creator can mark it Hidden from the edit form.
  • Every tabbed page keeps its open tab in the URL, so reloading or sharing a link returns to the same tab.
  • Fixed: sidebar row actions no longer stay visible after a click, and the task list refreshes stale rows when opened.

2026-09-29 — v1.1.5750

  • The sidebar is reorganized and condensed: per-project rows with question, stopped and failed counts, then Directory, Compliance, Automation, Audit, Settings and Requests.
  • Directory gathers your organization's pages, such as Projects, People, Groups and Credentials, under one tab strip.
  • Password managers no longer fill your saved email into console search and filter boxes.
  • The Tasks list's ⋯ menu offers a single Complete action; the duplicate "Complete with outcome" item is gone.
  • Tasks can now merge a clean pull request in a repository that has no CI checks.
  • Fixed: an agent no longer asks the same question again while your answer to it is still being delivered.

2026-09-28 — v1.1.5700

  • Bitbucket credentials using an API token now require the account email.
  • The console is now Jaah: new logo, name, tab title and icon.
  • The sign-in page adds Sign in with GitHub and Sign in with Microsoft beside Google.
  • Profile > Git Access lists each Git host, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps, with Connect, paste a token or disconnect, plus Add self-managed GitLab.
  • A person's page shows Reaches and Check access; group pages gain Members and Bindings tabs.
  • On a page you cannot open, Request access asks for it with an optional note; admins see requests in a Requests inbox, a bell count and a Slack DM.
  • Org, project and credential pages gain an Access tab showing who has access, where admins add or remove it.
  • Org Owners and Admins get their org's admin controls by role, including the schedule run history.
  • A Jaah task link pasted in Slack unfurls into a card with its number, title, state and project.
  • Go stays disabled on an unchanged Done task until you edit it, like Save.

2026-09-27 — v1.1.5566

  • Credentials: hover a name to copy it, Copy id is gone, dragging shows what moves, and whole folders can be dragged.
  • Settings is regrouped into categories of section cards, with hover help on each setting and a search box; each setting is one compact line, label, control, then its default or Reset.
  • A failed task's page shows why it failed.
  • The Out of scope and Definition of done fields are removed; write them in the task description instead.
  • New project is one form with General and Advanced sections, and edits environment variables in a dialog.
  • A company setup card on Tasks walks a new organization through its first steps, and its links open New Task pre-filled.
  • Add credential and project forms tuck optional fields into an Advanced section.
  • Fixed: automatic task titles no longer stop at a dot inside a word, such as a filename or version number.

2026-09-26 — v1.1.5388

  • Model choices on tasks, projects, personas and schedules are now tiers: Max, High, Standard and Low.
  • On phones, the Tasks list and task page no longer show the organization name.
  • Fixed: images pasted into a task draft saved automatically now show when the draft is reopened.
  • Fixed: people with access through a workstream can drive the consoles they are allowed to use instead of seeing them read-only.

2026-09-25 — v1.1.5220

  • Organization admins administer their own org in the same console, Directory and schedules included. The Tasks filter area is the same for everyone.
  • The advisor chat can file a sketch, a task or a whole epic for you.
  • New Task offers Out of scope and Definition of done, the same fields as editing, and Duplicate copies them.
  • Slack direct messages for mentions and needs-your-answer alerts now name their task with a link; mention links, also from the bell, open and highlight the comment itself.
  • Fixed: Google sign-in always lands on the account matching your email, even after an account's email was changed.
  • Fixed: a task opened from a direct link no longer stays pinned at the top of another project's board.

2026-09-24 — v1.1.5126

  • The task editor's Scope fence and Acceptance bar fields are renamed Out of scope and Definition of done.
  • A workstream can set its own integration branch and branch prefix, so its tasks ship to their own branch.
  • The task activity log names who stopped a task, for example "stopped by Jane Doe".
  • The task form's modes are renamed Sketch, Task and Epic, and Unattended, Guided and Chat, with shorter hints.

2026-09-23 — v1.1.4978

  • Commits and pushes an agent makes now carry the identity of the person who started the task, or the schedule's owner.
  • A question left unanswered past the timeout keeps the task waiting; answering later resumes the work.
  • Fixed: the Assigned To picker no longer shows 'No matching members' before the member list has loaded.

2026-09-20 — v1.1.4864

  • Answering a question card in Slack no longer posts a duplicate resolution line in its thread.

2026-09-19 — v1.1.4836

  • Every Slack task alert reads as one line: project, linked task number, title and status, such as Shipped, Needs your answer or Failed.

2026-09-18 — v1.1.4827

  • Tasks get a Priority (Urgent, High, Normal, Low) that orders work across all projects, and a new Queue view shows what runs next.
  • Starting or raising a task when everything is busy offers to stop a lower-priority running task and force-start it.
  • Focused mode on the task board keeps top-level queued tasks, listed after the ones needing action.
  • Tasks gain an Assigned To field. Questions, failures and shipped notices go to the assignee, who also gets an 'assigned' notification.
  • Tasks gain a Comments tab with @mentions; a mention notifies the person, and new comments show as a badge.
  • Task access now follows its project's permissions; the separate per-task access panel is gone.
  • Jaah links posted to Slack no longer unfurl into preview boxes.
  • Fixed: expanding the board's quick-create line into the full editor no longer leaves the text behind to be filed twice.

2026-09-11 — v1.1.4716

  • The task editor saves your work automatically as you type, so a long ticket survives a closed tab or reload. Never-saved drafts stay visible only to you.
  • A queued task can now be stopped from the board's row menu, parking it for edits.

2026-09-09 — v1.1.4684

  • The Answer tab's history shows each past question in full, with its options, comment and a Revise button, the same as the Q&A view.
  • A new Onboard persona opens one pull request that makes an existing repository ready for Jaah's agents to work in.

2026-09-08 — v1.1.4544

  • Profile > Notifications lets you set where you're notified and choose, per event, Full or Brief messages. Waiting questions and blocked tasks are separate events.
  • Credentials gain a general OAuth2 type with a Connect button and the redirect URL to register.
  • Profile > Git Access warns when your connected GitHub account reaches no repositories, with a link to install the GitHub App.

2026-09-07 — v1.1.4442

  • Tasks no longer show a GitHub issue number or link; each task is identified by its own number.
  • Settings shows the values in force for your organization, and Credentials, Audit and Sessions describe your organization.

2026-09-06 — v1.1.4352

  • The task page warns when a task's agent has started but stayed silent for more than five minutes.
  • Saving a Runner schedule refuses a project outside the schedule's organization, instead of letting every run fail later.
  • The research persona is now called Researcher everywhere.
  • Automation > Schedule adds a Run now button and shows why a stuck schedule is failing. Runner schedules keep their project after it is renamed.
  • Labels, help text and messages across the console are shorter and plainer.

2026-09-05 — v1.1.4272

  • The task board can group tasks by Project, with one section per project.
  • A new research persona writes a reviewed HTML report, and may open a docs pull request when a finding is lasting guidance.
  • A Runner schedule has one Full auto tick: ticked, its task decides on its own; cleared, it may interview you and ask when blocked.
  • Projects gain an Environment tab that sets the environment variables their tasks receive, from plain values or stored credentials, with personal overrides.
  • The task page's Q&A history and the answer panel's past rounds now list the newest first.
  • Fixed: some project edits could not be saved; a failed project save now says why.

2026-09-04 — v1.1.4170

  • Revise reopens a question round you already answered or dismissed, so you can change your answer from the Q&A history.
  • A task's menu gains Duplicate, which opens a new task pre-filled with its description, settings and attachments.
  • Compliance covers the organization alongside repositories, with grouped, expandable columns and clearer states.
  • Compliance Fix only lets you select issues an agent can fix; the rest are disabled with the reason.
  • In Credentials Tree mode, drag a credential onto another folder to re-file it.

2026-09-03 — v1.1.3907

  • In a chat, the advisor can edit or delete draft tasks it filed instead of filing duplicates.
  • Discard in the task editor asks for confirmation when you have unsaved changes.
  • Task search finds tasks by their number, including partial numbers.

2026-09-02 — v1.1.3564

  • Organization members get their own console: a read-only directory of the org's users and groups, org-level settings, and audit and session pages.
  • Credentials gains a Tree mode that groups credentials by the slash-separated folders in their names.
  • The Credentials list adds Search, Type, Owner and Secrets filters plus an Owner column, and remembers your view.
  • New Generic Login/Pwd and Generic API Key credential types; pickers show vendor logos, untestable types say why, and GitHub App credentials can be tested.
  • Double-click (or double-tap) the inline new-task row to open the full editor; draft and ready tasks can now be completed directly.
  • Task attachments can be up to 100MB.
  • Fixed: re-picking the same credential type no longer clears the fields you already filled in.

2026-09-01 — v1.1.3144

  • When one subtask of an epic fails, its sibling subtasks keep running instead of being paused.
  • Audit > Sessions gains an Efficiency tab showing where a period's task time went, by phase.
  • Task attachments can be downloaded, files over the size limit are refused when picked, and a failed upload no longer leaves the create form stuck.
  • An image pasted into a task description is saved as an attachment.
  • A task can be deleted from its own page.
  • A task waiting on your answers offers Copy all, which copies every open question and its numbered options to the clipboard.
  • A Get started card on the task board walks new members through connecting GitHub, picking a theme and creating a first task.
  • Profile is now split into Profile, Settings and Credentials tabs with a single Save, and returning from GitHub shows whether the connection succeeded.
  • Every place that asks you to choose a stored credential now uses the same picker, which shows names instead of IDs.
