Real-time

Jaah pushes changes to your browser as they happen, over two connections. The event stream is a one-way feed that says which item changed, so your page can refetch it instead of polling. The terminal WebSocket carries the live console of a worktree, byte for byte, in both directions.

Both connections open from a browser tab on the console, with the access you already have there. Neither one sends data you could not read on the matching console screen.

  • Event stream — a live feed of what changed, as server-sent events.
  • Terminal WebSocket — the console of a worktree: its URL, its frames and every close code.
