Using Jaah
Each section below is one part of Jaah. It opens with a page on how that part works — what it is, how it relates to the others and the states it moves through — followed by guides that each walk you through one job from start to finish, with the screens you will see on the way. When you need to know what a field or setting means, follow a guide's links into the console reference.
Work starts with tasks, and larger work runs as epics, guided by personas and playbooks:
- Tasks — how tasks work; start one, answer it, steer it, read its result and group tasks into features.
- Epics — how epics and features work; start a large piece of work and follow it stage by stage.
- Personas and playbooks — the kinds of expert that run your work; pick one for a task, build a playbook and run it.
- Chat — how chat works; talk a question through with the advisor before anything is built.
- Schedules — recurring work that files tasks on a timer; create a schedule and run, pause or change it.
Where the work happens, and who may do it:
- Projects — the repositories Jaah works on; add one, give people access to it, and set its environment variables.
- Nodes — the machines your runners work on; add a node, read its status, and drain or disable it.
- Worktrees — the working copies each task runs in; read a slot's status, add slots, and release a slot.
- Credentials — the connections to other services your tasks may use; add one, attach it to a project, and replace or delete it.
- Model accounts — the AI accounts your runners sign in as; add one, sign it in again, and pause or remove it.
- Team and access — people, groups and roles; invite a person, create a group, and check what someone can access.
- Billing and plan — your plan's limits and how the AI your tasks use is paid for; check your plan, ask to change it, and read your spend.
