Event stream
The event stream tells your client that something changed — a task moved to Done, a node reported new health, a schedule was edited — the moment the change is saved. Each event is small on purpose: it names the item and the change, and your client refetches the item to read its new state.
The console's own pages stay live this way, and any page or script running in the console's browser tab can listen to the same feed.
- Connection — the endpoint, keepalives, reconnecting, and a working client.
- Envelope — the three fields every event carries, and what is never sent.
- Event catalog — every entity, its actions, and when each one fires.
