Tutorial video scripting and production​

Outline an AppName tutorial playlist​

Review the whole system and create a playlist that goes from getting started to advanced use of AppName. Don't record any videos. Just produce a task artifact with a logical playlist of tutorial topics.

Update the playlist again, because more terminology has changed.

Write the scripts for the first part and store them in the repo.

Getting Started tutorial script and video​

Create a script for a tutorial: "Getting Started with AppName"

  • Click Sign Up on the website (pretend it works now)
  • Sign up with Google
  • Set up 2FA
  • Connect GitHub - demo both options, OAuth and PAT
  • Create a cloud node:
    • Create a credential for an AWS account
    • Use it to create a cloud node
    • Wait for it to go green (cut in video)
  • Connect an AI model account to the node, wait for it to go green too
  • Add a demo repo
  • Allocate 5 slots on the node
  • Create a small task and watch it get done
  • Show the PR in GitHub with the code changes
  • Mention that with CI/CD set up we would see the change by now
  • Also mention that if you don't have CI/CD, you can create a task in AppName and it will set it up for you according to best practices

Not sure if it's in the playlist, but we can add it. Record the video and upload it to YouTube and the website.

Create a vibrant hero screenshot​

Create a nice screenshot for the main page hero. Pick one or more that are really vibrant and don't have large empty gaps on screen. It could also be a collage, two components side by side, or an open Web Console. Show it to the user through task artifacts first (screenshots attached).
