Finish a chat

A chat never ends on its own: the advisor keeps waiting for your next message until you close it. A chat you leave open stays in the board's Stopped section, so finish it when you're done.

Who can do this: completing a chat needs edit access to its project.

End the chat

  1. Open the chat from the board.
  2. If you want to keep the conclusion, copy it from the Web Console first, or ask the advisor to sum it up.
  3. Open the chat's ⋯ menu.
  4. Select Complete.
  5. Check the board: the chat moves to Done.

Complete acts at once, without asking you to confirm. The chat stays on the board, with its question kept on its Task tab.

Turn the outcome into a task

When the chat ends in a decision to build something, start the work as a task of its own:

  1. On the board, select +.
  2. In the description box, write what the chat agreed, in your own words or pasted from the conversation.
  3. Choose Task for one change, or Epic for something larger.
  4. Choose Unattended or Guided.
  5. Select Go.

The steps for every option are in Start a task.
