Set up your organization

If you signed your organization up for Jaah, Guided setup walks you through everything it needs before its first task can run. It is for the organization's owner and admins.

Until setup is finished or skipped, opening the console takes you to Set up Jaah instead of the task board. Each step shows where it stands; the step to do next is open. Select any step's title to open it. The page checks your progress on its own, so you can leave it open while a step finishes elsewhere.

The steps

  1. Connect your forge. Select Connect GitHub and approve Jaah on GitHub. For GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps, or to paste a token, select Other options. Runners push their work with this account.
  2. Add a project. Select New project and pick the repository Jaah works in.
  3. Trial node. A trial node is prepared for you; the step reads Preparing your trial node… until it is ready, with nothing for you to do. If it could not start, the step shows why. With no trial node, select Add your own node.
  4. AI account. Select Accounts and add the AI account runners sign in with.
  5. First task. If your repository still needs preparing, select Prepare repo first, then New task. The step then follows your task and its state; select its title to open it. It is done when the task is done. If the task fails, select Try again.
  6. Done. Select Go to tasks.

While your sign-up is still awaiting approval, you can connect your forge and add a project; the later steps read Waiting for approval until it comes through.

Come back later

Select Skip for now to go to the task board; sign-in then stops opening guided setup. To return, select Guided setup in the Set up your company checklist.
