Find your way around
After you sign in, Jaah opens your task board. Everything else is one click away in the sidebar on the left.
What you see depends on your access
Your organization's admin decides what each person can see. If a sidebar item or a tab described here is missing for you, you don't have access to it yet. Ask your admin if you need it.
The sidebar
From top to bottom, the sidebar holds:
- Your projects. Pinned items, then All projects, which opens into each project and its features. Select one to see its tasks on the board.
- Directory. Your organization's projects, people and groups, and other lists your access allows, each on its own tab.
- Compliance. Your organization's compliance status.
- Automation. Playbooks, which everyone in your organization can read, and Schedule, for organization admins.
- Audit. A record of what happened in your organization, including the automated work done on each task.
- Settings. Your organization's settings.
- Billing. Organization Owners and Admins only: your plan, hosted nodes, payments and invoices.
On your phone
On a narrow screen the sidebar becomes a bar along the bottom with Tasks, Directory, Audit and Settings. Everything else, including your account menu, is under More.
Get help
Select Help (the question-mark button at the bottom of the sidebar) to open the Help panel. Ask a question in plain words. If the answer isn't enough, Help can open a support ticket for you.
You can follow your tickets under Support in your account menu.
Your account
Select your initials at the bottom of the sidebar to open your account menu:
- Organizations — every organization you belong to. The one you are working in is marked Current. To work in another, select the switch button next to it; the console reloads into that organization, and any other open tab of the console asks you to reload too. An organization still waiting for approval shows Pending approval and can't be switched to yet.
- Invitations — an invitation to join another organization. Select Accept to join it, or Decline.
- Create organization — apply for a new organization. It is reviewed before you can switch to it.
- Support — your support tickets and requests.
- My Profile — your name, password, Git access and your own credentials.
- Sign out.
When a page says "No access"
If you open a link you don't have access to, Jaah shows a No access page with the email address you are signed in with. From there you can:
- select Request access, when it is offered, to ask for access to that item;
- select Edit your profile; or
- select Sign out and sign in with a different account.
When your organization is waiting for approval
New organizations are reviewed before they can run tasks. Until yours is approved, a notice at the top of every page reads "Your organization is awaiting approval". You can still connect GitHub, add repositories and invite your team.
